Yoyogi Building

Jeg tok dette bildet i september da Therese var her, men nå fant jeg interessant info på Wikipedia om tårnet som jeg ikke har visst.

Klipp og lim:

- The NTT DoCoMo Yoyogi Building houses few offices, but contains mainly technical equipment (switching equipment, etc.) for NTT DoCoMo's cellular telephone service.
- Solar energy is partially used to power the building.
- Despite its height, the building is "only" 25 floors above ground. Indeed, the top half of the building is actually empty and acts like a giant antenna.
- A garbage separation system employed within the office helps to reduce waste and increase the recycling rate.
- The waste water is recycled for reuse, and alongside rainwater is used in the building's toilets.
- The upper portion of the building features colored lights which tell people whether or not to be wary of rain.
- The clock atop the building was installed in November of 2002 to celebrate the company's tenth anniversary. The NTT DoCoMo Yoyogi Building is the tallest clock tower in the world.

Og jeg som har irritert meg over hvordan de sløser med strømmen i disse store byggene... Mye unødvendig irritasjon gett.
